Ate here with gf and her parents. I had steak and ale pie as did her dad, gf had giant yorkshire with cumberland sausage filling, her mum had a jacket potato with chilli. All portions were large with plenty fresh veg or salad and an additional jug of gravy and all were tasty. I had a mandarin cheesecake which was also really nice. I eat here very regularly. If you want no nonsense traditional simple pub grub then this is the place. A nice selection of food and drink served by friendly staff. Nice garden and comfortable setting to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend ?
