A great pub, the location is perfect right on the river. Very cosy seating area with real fire’s burning, great setup. Plenty of tables outside (once the weather is warmer!). Staff are always friendly and helpful. I often go with my mum and often served by Natalie who is fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. She even remembers what wine we normally order!
Had a great lunch celebrating an anniversary! Natalie R provided friendly and attentive service, checking with Chef Nathan for suitable adjustments to the menu for my wife’s gluten intolerance. Nathan really did a fantastic job! The food was amazing!!

We lived in the area (10+) years ago, but have travelled up from Devon to visit friends. All four of us (plus puppy!) thoroughly enjoyed our meals thank you. one pie of the day and one signature burger (both highly recommended), myself and another both had the sea bass - delicious. best i’ve had. 5* Our food was fab and our waitress (Natalie R) deserves a special mention because she was so lovely - all you’d hope for and more!
