Lovely pub, fantastic decor lots of history, books there if you get bored.had egg Benedict was lovely, get a few unsavoury characters( the locals )just ignore them, drinks are cheap give it 10 out 10 best pub in the area.
As always good choice of beers. Sadly some of the food not edible. Manager would not change as he said you should expect poor food here. UnbelievableKnow not to eat in wetherspoons now

Smallish Witherspoon's, typical Witherspoon fare with good prices, nice decor, good sized garden area which is better when it's dry. Busy at times particularly if it is too cool or wet to use the garden but worth a visit if in the area. Still good value.
