A welcome opportunity to rest and refresh halfway through a Saturday ramble through countryside around Welwyn Garden City. Unfortunately, service was a little slow - owing to the branch being woefully understaffed for such a popular cafe. However, those there did their best and a slightly longer pause was also a blessing in the circumstances. The coffee was reinvigorating and fuelled the rest of the ramble.
I love a Costa hot chocolate, and they offer a fairly wide range of cakes to go alongside. The staff are very friendly, however they seem to be understaffed, and wait time can be quite long.

Needs a bit of an update and they need more staff on. There is always a wait, longer than it should be but because 2 staff are trying to run a big shop in peak trading times - they are town centre after
