It’s been a while since I’ve been here and your memory does play tricks however we were not disappointed the welcome was lovely and the food is amazing. We had a family Boxing Day lunch, we all decided to have the pies, which were outstanding, so full of flavour and best of all filling the accompanying vegetables were just right it’s not often you get kale, we loved it. Genuinely warm hospitality from from front of house (11 Dec), lovely afternoon atmosphere, great food and wine. We had the fish pie and local butcher Woodfords pork chop. Cooked and presented superbly.

Warm welcome on arrival, drinks served promptly by lovely attentive, friendly staff in lovely surroundings. Great homemade food, generous portions and beautifully hot. Cannot wait to return. Fantastic menu choices difficult to choose!
