I stayed at the Wheatsheaf for 1 night during the September heatwave. I really enjoyed my stay & would recommend the Wheatsheaf to anybody. All the staff were lovely, especially the lady running the breakfast in the morning. My room was great, really clean and the bet was so comfy. The thing that really made my stay a 10/10 was the air conditioning unit in the room, much needed when it's almost 30c outside, I had an amazing sleep. Absolutely amazing, cannot fault the staff or the service! Always so friendly and welcoming. Will recommend to everyone. Simon the chef was fantastic, had the chorizo Brie chicken, the best combination. The bar staff recommended me a white wine to go with it too!

We stopped here for a drink and dessert after dinner. The staff were very attentive. The food was great and the atmosphere in the bar was relaxed and friendly. The square makes a beautiful backdrop and feels like you're in the mediterranean. We'll be back !
