Dine at Quarry House, Quarry House, Calleywell Ln, Aldington, AshfordThanks to Quarry House Bistro for a superb breakfast, freshly cooked using good quality ingredients and very reasonably priced. The establishment is a relaxed and pleasant environment. We look forward to returning, maybe for lunch or afternoon tea, next time.

Bridge Rd, AshfordA country pub with a good atmosphere. Morris dancers. Didn't eat this time, but the menu looked good so I'll be back. Friendly staff. Two outside areas.

The Woolpack Inn Smeeth
Church Rd, Smeeth, AshfordA very decent pint and an excellent steak and ale pie and mash. Proper, individual pie, too, none of your "lid on a stew" nonsense. Wasn't keen on the red cabbage, but then I never am, so not the pub's fault.

Hythe Rd, Smeeth, AshfordI was amazed to see the councils rating of 1.I am very fussy and the food is lovely.You can see right in to the kitchen and see it being cooked.No real issues here with bugs or rodents.No stinky rubbish.Just needs tightening up on staff procedures.It is a lovely place.Don't be put off.Try it and see for yourself.
