Went to celebrate a family birthday; the staff were great and we had a fabulous meal. Thanks to Tracey and the rest of the staff for making it such a lovely occasion - the balloons were a lovely touch especially for a birthday two days before Christmas!
Had the Xmas three course menu for a family party for my dads 80th birthday. 14 people. Booking was straight forward and had a couple of menu/people changes which they were helpful. Had a warm welcome from staff. Food excellent and plentiful. Staff couldn’t do enough for our party. If I asked for something they obliged immediately. Manager and staff are the best I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant and that’s how all places should be. Recommend the Caption Digby to anyone....read full review

We rode to the scenic Kingsgate Bay to return for the goats cheese and red onion chutney salad. It is easily the best salad I've ever eaten, so filling that I've recommended it to family and friends. The menu also caters for those that prefer burgers and pastas too! Seating is available in and outside which has kids play areas and is dog friendly.
