Bar • “Great stay, lovely room, comfortable bed, good shower, dinner was exceptional, great options on menu, extremely well cooked, full of flavour, joy to eat. Breakfast was very good. Service from everyone wonderful. Highly recommended.Rooms: The room we stayed in was clean, warm and large, bed very comfortable and the walk-in shower easy to use with lots of hot water. WiFi was very reliable.Food & drinks: The dinner was exceptional, high standard of cooking, great choice on menu. Looking forward to a return visit to sample more. Good choice of wines. Breakfast was well cooked and again, wide choice on menu.”

Bar • “We booked a table later than liked at 8pm we arrived at 750pm only to be told they are closing kitchen at 8pm we had to rush getting in the orders. The food was great couldn't knock that. But the orders were messed up a little because of rushing a meal was missed puddings etc. They happily made this right. They were very accommodating.”

“Genuinely the most delicious dinner i have had in canterbury. portion size was plentiful , ambiance was perfect, incredibly polite and well-trained staff , food presentation was gorgeous, taking less than 10 minuets to arrive. both food and drinks were incredibly well-priced, so much so my party walked away feeling like we'd turned a profit on the night. finally a special thank you to the owner, was so amazing to see someone who takes so much pride (and rightly so) in their food, and someone who was so kind and engaging with the customers.
