Visited the Golden Lion, for an evening meal with friends, we were made very welcome and shown to our table straight away. The staff were polite and very friendly. There was a good choice variety of choices on the menu, plus a couple of specials avaiable. Our drinks orders were taken, and given time to look at the menu. Absolutely fabulous lunch again today. The portions are very generous and so very tasty. Excellent service, friendly staff, great food. What else could you want? Thank you from four very full and satisfied customers :)

Excellent service and good food very nice and hot throughly recommended, good variety on menu. Amanda and Colin run a very friendly country pub and do a very good job in these trying times.
