A hidden gem, it is very easy to miss as it is down a side alley but it is definitely worth a visit.The atmosphere is good, it has quite a nice homely vibe as it feels comfortable and familiar even if you haven't been there before.The food is cheap, cheerful and good for filling an empty stomach. £1 for a cup of tea.Ken is a delightful gentleman to be around. Ken is an old, retro guy, affable in his red-striped apron. Anyway, bad point first: the eggs were solid. So hard it must be deliberate by the tall blonde cook. Some people do prefer hard-fried eggs, I guess; but I prefer them runny. Hard eggs are eaten too quickly, and they remove the pleasures of mixing flavours by dipping. Ken the owner is terrific , a great Guy, Rachel just keeps going, really lovely woman, always got a positive attitude, the food is out of this world, cooked to perfection, it cannot be faulted in any way. Best place in Folkestone ?????
