After walking into Sandgate from Folkestone we stumbled upon The Savoury Slice. I ordered a full English breakfast and a cup of tea. It was the best fry up I have ever eaten! All freshly cooked while we sat on the stools that were placed in the cafe window so we could people watch while waiting. I highly recommend this little gem, simple food but cooked amazingly well and the lady who owned the shop was so friendly. Will definitely be going back again!
Freshly cooked bacon.. not thin cheap stuff. Soft rolls. Done while you wait so don't expect instant pre done. Coffee nice strength but not bitter. Excellent value roll and coffee £3.

Imagine being so desperate for a smile you’d dismiss everything else about a place, including the food which is surely the most important thing. If you want inane robotic smiles there’s a McDonalds up in town.
