Excellent service, food was good, cutlery wasn't the cleanest. Atmosphere - quiet but it was a couple of days after Christmas. Decor really needs updating. From the outside it looks dreadful, scaffolding, peeling paint, rubbish
We went as a family of 9 (5 adults , 4 children) . We all had nice food and good service from our young waitress. However a couple of things spoilt it from being 5*. My wife ordered Beer battered fish n chips but breaded Haddock was served for her and another adult , with the explanation being “ well it’s the same fish, Haddock!” No explanation was given as to why it wasn’t Beer battered. Then I ordered a Steak , which was lovely but ordered as an extra Garlic prawns @£4.99....read full review
