Our waitress was in the car park with a cigarette as we parked up and entered the building. Within a few minutes she came to our table breathing nicotine breath over us. Disgusting, wonder if she'd even washed her hands.
I really would like to give an excellent review but unfortunately the wonderful building was let down by mediocre food.We were a large group including children and all had different meal choices including some vegetarian meals. The starters were just......ok. I had the sour dough bread with oil and vinegar, it could have done with more to dip into.But onto the mains. It was a Sunday so, 3 of us had the roast beef. Located a short drive from the A2, this is halfway between our home and that of our friends, so an ideal meeting place. We requested a table with flat access for a disabled person and they noted our request. The table was perfect and we enjoyed a delicious meal.The menu is quite small but we all found something we liked. Friendly and efficient service
