The Great House
Gill's Green, Hawkhurst, CranbrookWow! what a great place. I was looking for a really nice pub and restaurant to take my two work directors and sales desk manager to, for lunch.
Booking a table for four was totally hastle free with great first impressions on arrival. The menue provided a really excellent variety of choice to choose from and the food we ordered was hot and really very tasty. The staff were really helpful, friendly and the service was excellent. We all had a really nice meal, both of my directors and manager commented on what a great choice or venue.
I know we will definitely come back again and I would definitely recommend The Great House to my friends, family and anyone.

The Eight Bells
The Moor, HawkhurstWednesday Burger night was a great experience!! The food was high quality, with both the chicken burger and the beef burger cooked well and full of flavour. The service was friendly and efficient and Finn always goes that extra mile making us so welcome! It was also excellent value for money, offering good portions and quality without being overpriced. Highly recommend!

Hawkhurst Fish Bar
Martins, Highgate Hill, High Street, Hawkhurst, CranbrookLovely couple who own the fish and chip shop, very chatty and friendly.\nThe food was lovely, ordered 2 large cod, 1 large chips, mushy peas and curry sauce.\nThe only slight downside was the batter on the fish was very oily but this could be made better by allowing the fish sit and drain for a bit, however this didn’t alter the flavour and the cod was moist and tasty.\nIf we ever come and stay this way again we will sure to make a visit again.

Happy Garden Chinese Takeaway
1 Martins, Highgate Hill, Hawkhurst, CranbrookLovely meal this evening, beautiful Thai Red curry flavour chicken. Decent good sized duck rolls. Just right king prawns. The special fried rice has some noodle looking guys in it not a fan... but that's the only bad point I had. Chicken satays were tasty, chicken balls just right, not soggy like some you get, and the consistency of the sweet and sour sauce was on point!The staff were lovely, and the order arrived shortly after it was ordered. I've just had an op so I'm looking to takeaways to feed my lot as I can't stand to long right now, but I'll be using happy garden again.
