Pub was full of people and felt like a friendly local.
Family run and they were really welcoming too!
I'd go back again if it wasn't so far away from me!!

Hareplain Rd, Biddenden, AshfordLovely authentic character pub and restaurant in a rural location.
Good place for restaurant quality food and a separate bar if you just want a quiet drink.
Speed of service was just right.
We had rump of lamb and calves liver.
Both full of flavour and well presented but the liver had a lot of sinew which made it inedible - shame.
I mentioned it to the serving staff but there was no real interest or apology.
We would go again but not have the liver!
