Cauliflower cheese is a must , along with awesome crispy roast potatoes .

Queens Head
111 The St, Boughton-under-Blean, FavershamAbsolutely amazing little gem of a pub. The food was fantastic and a welcome change from the boring chain pub menus. I had the fishcake and it was huge and I couldn't fault it .

Three Horseshoes
Staple St, Hernhill, FavershamVisited on a warm Friday afternoon in June 2025- there were a couple of people in, chatting to the barmaid, who promptly jumped up and served us as we came in. Nice old pub interior, big screen on one side so presume there are sports viewing at times but not constantly on which is always good. We sat outside , there are some old picnic benches quite closely packed next to the road, rather than a separate beer garden , but the road isn’t too busy so not unpleasant but certainly not a safe place for young kids - even though there is an old tractor at the front which would be a nice climb on for young children. It looks like the sort of place which is well used by locals, but not unwelcoming to visitors although a little off the beaten track so google is a godsend for them no doubt.
The outside area could do with a tidy up, looks like it’s where they keep equipment for setting up pop up bars etc but this does detract from it a bit.
We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food, and as a Shepherd Neame pub the keg IPA offerings are limited (for Kent’s oldest brewery which is a shame) but the ‘First Drop’ we had was ok if lacking in a bit of flavour.
No car park, which could make parking a bit tricky at busy times (I expect some who live local might get a bit narked about people parking outside their houses- but not much other options unfortunately.
Overall a pleasant local pub that looks like it would be cosy in the winter and hopefully we will return to try the food at some point.
