Just had a great meal (27 January 2024) as part of a group - local bellringers. Really good traditional pub food, excellent chicken pie, good choice of beers. Friendly and efficient staff.
Popped in today all a bit on the spur of the moment as we were passing, for some lunch, thought it might be a bit too late, but very pleasantly surprised to be welcomed in...Lovely food, great service, nothing too much trouble...Lovely butterscotch sponge pudding , yum

Really friendly staff and gorgeous boxer dog. Food cooked perfectly. My brother had steak pudding. He said it was delicious and gravy was really tasty. Everything was presented beautifully. Excellent, try it really good value. Good selection of beers. A lovely country pub.
