A lovely warm environment with good roast dinner, especially nice meat and Yorkshire pudding. Looks like it's near a big road on the map but it's actually a little retreat of countryside.
Had a lovely lunch today with my mates. Pub was really easy to find and nice and snug amongst all the country woods. The pub itself is a bit old fashioned both outside and inside and the lighting was quite dark and gloomy inside but otherwise was fine, made for a cosy meal.A lot of reviews on here said about the food and the service not being great. I cannot believe the poor reviews of the Yew Tree.We've been coming here for a few years now (upon recommendation)We have never had a bad meal, food is always first class as is the service and the choice of wines & real ales.It has a gorgeous garden (great for summer evenings)It's our go to pub.
