Very kind lovely staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Liquidised a lunch of steak pie mash and carrots perfectly for an adult with swallowing difficulties. Very chatty and made lunch very easy. Thanks very much

Proper pub, proper people, proper pint. Such a welcoming land lady and community environment, darts there as well as pool table. Good local people and all welcoming. Reminds me of pubs my dad took me to in London growing up, that are too few these days. We're new to the area and my boy has shown interest in darts, and the pub land lady sorted him a set and the local gents helped him get the basics. Highly recommend.

Cracking little boozer, very welcoming as a family with kids. Fantastic food menu with plenty of options at very reasonable prices, what you save on the food you spend on the drinks thou as they are pricey. Great outdoor seating area, car parking out the back. Will most definitely return next time we bring our caravan to the hop farm again

Enjoyed an excellent meal !! We had ordered the Kursey leg of lamb in advance and it was delicious: tender and tasty without being too spicy. There was plenty for 6 ladies and would have served more. The rice and sag aloo side dishes that accompanied it were ideal although we ordered a couple extras for variety.
Abdul and his team were brilliant - superb service: courteous and attentive.
I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant.

I think the staff serving here get a lot of stick from fickle customers who expect there to be many staff manning the tills all day. I think they do a great job, and I certainly don't mind a bit of a wait to be served during busy times ( school rush can be very slow, esp' as there are only 2 tills ). Food is always good, as is the coffee. Nothing to complain about as far as I'm concerned
