Had a birthday celebration with 3 girlfriends on Thursday 27 June. I had to bring my dog as she has to have medication in the early evening. The pub is very dog friendly inside and outside. The food was delicious: we had fish cake with poached egg, shepherds pie and calves liver and bacon with root vegetables and cabbage. The calves liver was amazing. One of us had buttermilk panna cotta which was very good. Our waitress was excellent. Thanks for a lovely evening

Lovely little fish & chips and kebab place in hadlow village with a good amount of variety. Quality food, attentive staff, reasonable prices. They offer deep fried cod, haddock, or plaice. Also kebab is amazing. Great little place to go with friends or even on your own

It is a small, local pub. The people and the owner Driton (I guess he is the owner and I am not sure if I spelled his name correctly) were very friendly. We were driving passed, little lost and I desperately needed to go to the toilet. We saw that pub in nowhere, stopped and order something before using the toilet. Driton was so friendly, he said we don’t need to buy anything for using the toilet unlike some other pubs’ where the toilets are only for the use of the customers” rule. If we weren't in a hurry to go to our friends’ house we would like to spend more time with these lovely people. We stayed around 10-15 minutes but it was like being in a family.
The pub is little old fashion but very lovely. There are lots of photographs and big, old, iron cutlery on the walls.

No food service but there are variety of nibbles. Clean toilets. The only thing I didn’t like is the boar’ head on the wall. Hope it is not real.

New investment in this venue gives it huge potential
Great pub food but needs the additional professional touches to make it a must visit
Without a professional manager with good pub grub experience there is no chance that such a good chef will stay, then will revert to as bad as before.
Ignore previous food reviews because this chef can cook !
Sure it will be a success
