A nice bar with friendly staff. Went to a couple of open mic nights hosted there and the turnout wasn't great but I suspect given time it will be very popular as there is lots of both standing and sitting space and the place has a lovely feel.
We felt very welcome by the regulars - especially as they made room for us to sit down and listen to the live jazz band.We got free roast spud bar food to nibble at while we got gently pickled, swaying to the great music from 1 - 3.30pm.

I went there because a group of us went to a comedy night there. It was a very good evening, the staff were excellent. I have not scored it highly though as I am a real ale drinker and would generally choose any one of the establishments nearby that sell real in preference.
