Fantastic restaurant. Food is always great; roast dinners are just the best. Such a brilliant restaurant and bar ..eat in or takeaway! Great atmosphere and generally just a lovely place to be...LOVE IT!!
Finding a parking spot was impossible so that was not a great start! The pub is tucked away but popular nonetheless. The atmosphere is rustic/traditional. I found the waitress to be friendly and efficient. The menu would suit all tastes and the blue cheese pizza didn’t touch the sides! Delicious! Drink prices are high. Would definitely return.

Table booked for 7pm after a disastrous three hour drive doing a 25 minute tops journey we could not fault this beautiful pub , the staff were amazing , our party of 10 did two sittings 8 that lived closer arrived and had dinner ours was done on arrival , such caring polite staff , we expected to be told we had missed our dinner , but no it was cooked as soon as we arrived well done to all concerned xx
