Martin, the friendly host, on finding out that it was my wife’s birthday, brought over a delicious glass of port each to celebrate. A fantastic atmosphere, small and cosy, and perfect for a glass of wine or two!

The meat melts in your mouth and is seasoned perfectly great value for money lovely family atmosphere and the staff are very attentive. They even bring out their handmade dog treats at the end for anyone who has four legged friends waiting at home We will definitely be back!

The service was fantastic, we were seen to quickly and checked upon regularly, thank you to Medine who looked after us all night. 10/10 recommend.

We had the cherry ones they were warm and delicious, plenty of butter and jam provide. Owner very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Dog friendly too, we will return

4 High St, WhitstableFour of us ate here last night. The decor is stylish and the atmosphere is fab. Staff are lovely. We ordered Cod’s Roe, Padron peppers, Steak, Fish pie and Beetroot/whipped goats cheese and pumpkin seeds. It was all so tasty and so beautifully cooked and presented.
We were full but ordered a Tiramisu to share. I’m so pleased we did. It was out of this world delicious, really special. We drank Rosé and it was perfect. We can’t wait to come back.

Oxford St, WhitstableBest meal in whitstable for a long time, took my Nan here for her birthday and the service an food was amazing these people know their stuff, fast service with a great deal of efficiency, also dog friendly which is a massive plus as well as their massive beer garden which I can imagine gets packed in the summer, can’t wait to come back!Vegetarian options: The veggie options are just as good as the normal options!Dietary restrictions: We have a gluten free in our group and was difficult to find somewhere that catered for all of us, They have a gluten free options which saved our evening thinking we couldn’t find anywhere that does nice gluten free dishes but the east Kent pulled through and saved our evening

11 Horsebridge Road, WhitstableWhat a lovely night. The team at Zizzi's Whitstable were great. Service was swift and attentive. Food arrived after the right amount of time, not too quick which means it wasn't pre cooked and not too long that we were looking around for it. That food was delicious, clean plates all round. We brought a birthday cake with us and they delivered that with suitable pomp and circumstance, the birthday ballon that was delivered earlier in the day was tied to the chair when we arrived. The only complaint I have is that I couldn't tip on the card machine and none of us had cash on us to leave a respectable tip, which I'll sort tomorrow. Overall, 10/10 Zizzi Whistable.

Everything we had was outstanding — from the bread to start, to our mains, and my husband’s dessert. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars is the price. For lunch, it came to £123 for the two of us (one drink each, bread to start, one main each, and a dessert), which makes it quite expensive and not somewhere most people could visit often. That said, it’s a truly stunning spot and perfect for a special occasion or treat.

The staff and the owner were incredible – friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food wasn’t just food – it was pure food porn! Every bite was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and far beyond what we expected. I honestly cannot recommend Basil & Co enough – fantastic atmosphere, wonderful people, and food that leaves you planning your next visit before you’ve even finished the meal.

67 Harbour St, WhitstableCame here for dinner with my family and sister's family. Service was fantastic, the guy looking after us (and the whole pub it seemed!) Was brilliant. Super friendly, knew his stuff and was great with the kids. Food was really yummy. It was actually nice to have a menu that didn't have loads on! A good simple menu that had good classics on, and done well. Great value for money too. We will definitely be back!

32 Church St, WhitstableWe visited on a Tuesday night and the pub and restaurant were quite busy. We had a warm welcome and friendly from the landlord and waitress. The food was lovely traditional pub food, local sausages and mash and a chicken and ham pie and mash. Served with fresh vegetables which were included in the price (as they should be imo!). We had a very nice evening and will return next time we’re in Whitstable. The owner of our Airbnb recommended two other places to eat and I’ll tell her to recommend The Monument too!

I had the scallops and Lamb Rump and my wife had the beef short rib and Seafood Boil, everything was exceptional. Everything tasted freshly cooked and the flavour was amazing.
