Great place for food and drinks! We had never visited before but we will 100% be back soon. The management and the lady behind the bar are very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was brilliant and the portion sizes we're extremely generous including the children's meals! The menu has a great choice and the atmosphere inside is lovely also!
Normally I'd tell staff members that the food is good if it truly is but that wasn't the case here. It used to be quite good but since it's changed hands in my opinion the food is no longer up to scratch. I had steak and Guinness pie. Well it was more like Guinness pie because I think there was a shortage of cows to provide the steak. My Mrs had a roast beef dinner and that was awful. The meat was like rubber. Terrible. It had been years since we visited here and we met up for a family get together. A warm welcome and a good atmosphere hits you as you walk in. Very well presented and had plenty of customers while we were there. Good selection of food and drink and very helpful staff. Also has a large outdoor seating area.
