Well worth making the effort to have a meal here. Welcoming staff got us swiftly seated and looking at the menu. We decided on Chicken Supreme which was delicious, Fish, chips and mushy peas (not my daughters usual choice - but there was nothing left at the end!), and the Duck breast, which was perfectly pink.We shared 3 desserts, and so glad we did! Excellent staff! Only two of them on duty this aft but worked like Trojans to keep everyone happy in a busy and buzzing pub. Much appreciated by us - hope the management feels the same. Hats off, you deserve a pay rise!
We went for a meal tonight with family. Honestly could not fault anything. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We sat in a small room off the bar. Nicely decorated with lovely furnishings. For starters we had poached egg with black pudding. That is up there with the best starters ever. Also had duck pancakes , again absolutely delicious. Main courses.
