Today was our first visit to the Black Bull, and I am pretty sure it won’t be our last. The quality of the traditional pub grub, was equally matched by the excellent service and atmosphere throughout the bar and restaurant.
We were sitting in the Barn and chose from the festive menu. There was plenty of choice on the menu and it was well worth the price. The portion sizes were very generous and the meal was delicious. The courses were evenly spaced which allowed us the time for chatting, relaxing and we were certainly not rushed or pressured to leave. Our table was ours for the evening. A friend recommended that we visit as she felt we would appreciate what they offer. She wasn't wrong, both myself and my husband were extremely impressed with the service and food. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes served. We also would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning... ?
