We drove a fair distance today to visit Yorkshire Fisheries after reading all the positive reviews. Was it worth it? Absolutely. This is a little gem of a chippy, it feels old school but somehow modern. It's spotlessly clean and the staff are proper lancastrians that are exceptionally pleasant.Most importantly the food was cooked fresh, was piping hot and without doubt one of, if not the nicest pieces of cod I've ever eaten. Found this fish & chip shop while on a walk around Blackpool recently, they had a restaurant and a takeaway and we opted for the latter as we had our dog with us. There was loads of choice on the menu and the staff were very friendly, I have to say it was the best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time. Portions were big and the food tasted great, will definitely be back on my next trip.

I can certainly see why Yorkshire Fisheries has been around for over 100 years! The chips were absolutely delightful and it’s nice to see a chip shop where you can sit inside and savour every bite. The curry sauce was great and the staff were also very friendly!
