Emesgate Ln, Silverdale, CarnforthA wonderful little coffee shop in Silverdale with lovely food and excellent cakes. Coffee is also very good. You can tell how well an establishment is run by the standard of the cleanliness of the toilets. 10/10 for everything The Blossom Bird has to offer ??

Woodlands Hotel
Woodlands Dr, Silverdale, CarnforthTravelled a little way to visit this clearly very popular pub off the beaten track. Unfortunately, I was unable to purchase anything on this occasion as I was unable to leave my little girl unattended in order to get to the bar (no kids allowed in the bar). Out of respect for the establishment’s rules and its patrons, I decided to leave. I do hope to return in future though; pubs like this need everyone’s continued support throughout the year to stay open.
I am not seeking to influence a change of policy on children; this is up to the venue and no doubt informed by prior negative experiences, and the wishes of regular patrons to maintain the much-loved atmosphere here. If there had been another serving hatch away from the bar, I would have happily spent my money here.
I was surprised to see that The Woodlands was not included in my 2025 version of the Good Beer Guide (perhaps the locals prefer it this way!).

The Silverdale Hotel
Shore Rd, SilverdaleNice pub, friendly landlord, no food when we were there so can't comment. Room was very small, with even smaller stud framed bathroom. For this reason, probably won't return as there are several other options around.

The Royal Silverdale
The Royal, Emesgate Ln, SilverdaleLocal village pub football shown quite modern with old values and a well stocked bar with guest Beers also good selection of pies and Carribbean patties also live music on Friday nights also an upstairs games room pool and darts.
