Pub quiz we did was really good and was free but still had prizes which is nice. I'm excited for its future, and will certainly start visiting it again now!

Prices are reasonable and the food well cooked and presented, service cheerful
Plenty of choice although I got what I always get- sausage chips and beans
The only very slight niggle is that, if you want ketchup or brown sauce it's an extra 35p not going to break the bank I know but free would be great!

71 Crostons Rd, BuryI've never had a takeaway as nice as this. I'm on a trip from Ireland and my friend brought me down for dinner. honestly the nicest food I've ever had!I had the katsu wraps and tokyo fries, my only complaint is they aren't in Ireland lol 100% recommend this place its phenomenal

Sun Dial, 312 Walmersley Rd, BuryA bright and airy place. I went on the evening of Sunday 22 June. I was walking by on a long walk home and thought I'd stop in. I had two white wine spritzers. It was a quiet night. The bartender was very cordial. I was a bit tipsy from a party and he was tolerant about my dumb questions about Bury geography. The drinks were very nice.
I liked the decor and general vibe of the place. Thank you for your hospitality.

10-12 Argyle St, BuryOne of the best chippy's around. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are all very friendly.
Parking: Street parking so can be limited.
Kid-friendliness: Very friendly towards my little boy, even giving him a lollipop while we were waiting for our food.

Everything was piping hot and full of flavour so highly recommend for a fast efficient service.

Ignore the low reviews its false. The lady is one of the nicest most polite friendly chatty person you will meet
She has even given me testers and extra stuff for free the food is all proper meat this is likely one of the only local proper chinese’s left!
I cry at the thought of this place closing because Its just the best. Like years ago when all chinese was amazing quality.
The chicken here is delicious. I just drove past and reminded myself how amazing this place was and to finally leave the much deserved review.
I hope this place never closes its one of bury’s hidden treasures!

Man Lung
59 Walshaw Rd, Burythe good at Man Lung is amazing, they have a massive menu and everything is hot and fresh, I absolutely love everyone at Man Lung, they have many many customers, but they remember you as a person, best Chinese take out in Bury for sure.

The Fish Bar at Tottington Road
240 Tottington Rd, BuryI completed an order form on line and was given a time for collection. I arrived a little early to find the two members of staff making up up my order. I was welcomed in a friendly manner and very shortly after a little conversation my order was complete and I returned home. All those eating said the food was very good.

We have tried a few Chinese takeaways in and around Bury for the past couple of months trying to find a good one. No need to look any further we have found our forever Chinese. Taylor House, 355A Brandlesholme Rd, BuryLove this butty shop and the people who work there. Always have a laugh and get served with good grub. All the pies are good and they sell a steak and kidney which it rare these days.
My favourite place to get an omelette. They don’t like making them but they’re really good.

290 Tottington Rd, BuryTried Thindigo Bury for the first time the other night and honestly, it really impressed me. I went in to collect a set meal for two, plus an extra chicken tikka masala and rice, and from start to finish it was a great experience.
The food was ready right on time, still hot when I got home, and everything tasted amazing. The set meal had a good mix of dishes, all packed with flavour and clearly made fresh. The chicken tikka masala was a definite standout – creamy, perfectly spiced, and the chicken was really tender. The rice was fluffy and not greasy at all, and the portion sizes were generous without being over the top.
While I was waiting, I had a look around inside and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a lovely, cosy atmosphere – the decor is simple but gives off a really warm, homely vibe. It actually made me think it’d be a nice spot to eat in as well, not just for takeaway.
The staff were friendly, everything was clean and well-organised, and you could tell they take pride in their food and service. Overall, really happy with the whole experience. Great value for money and genuinely tasty food. I’ll definitely be back – it’s now firmly on my list for when I’m craving a proper Indian takeaway.
