Recently visited this pub. I was greeted by a friendly member of the kitchen staff who looked clean and she was very friendly. She said hello and told us to grab a seat. She said she’d just joined the team so we were feeling apprehensive - anyways she most definitely proved us wrong. My husband, son & I visited the Canal Turn for an evening meal after it was recommended to us by a family member. We regularly stay at a caravan site nearby & like to visit Carnforth town centre so the pub was very handy. The ambience, service & food were all fantastic. We would like to return for lunch during the day another time so we can see the gorgeous canal view by the side of the pub. We used the Canal Turn for a pub lunch after a walk and they did us proud. 14 of us enjoyed a varied menu choice which was served hot at the same time. Staff were friendly and helpful Everyone was happy with their meals and I would thoroughly recommend the Canal Turn as a place to eat. Super location too!! Warrington HF Rambling Club
