230-232 The Grn, Eccleston, ChorleyVerdes is a place we visit often as a family. The staff are lovely, very welcoming and always efficient and friendly and the restaurant is very pleasant, well placed with easy parking and access.
We opted for an early dinner to celebrate a 40th birthday- 4 adults and 3 children aged 2yrs to 5yrs. Children are well catered for, with individual needs met without fuss. The atmosphere is great too - not noisy but comfortably casual.
The menu choices offer pasta, pizza as well as a range of Italian dishes. We opted for pizzas - there is currently an offer of £6.95 for any pizza/pasta at certain times/days. The food was good, but I'm uncertain as whether the toppings were as tasty as previous visits...maybe because of the offer?
All in all though we had a super time and will be continuing to visit regularly...oh, and be sure to book ahead - it's busy!

The Original Farmers Arms
91 Towngate, Eccleston, ChorleyAbsolutely love coming here.. it's like having you tea at home.. all fresh cooked food, and a cracking choice.
You don't have to sit in the restaurant part, and can eat in the bar area...
