The Costa Coffee on Lancaster campus is a friendly and warm environment which you can use to study in, read, write or catch up with others. The service tends to be good, although sometimes it can be a bit slow. This does not however detract from the experience, as far as Costas go, it's definitely a good choice.
Good coffee, nice staff! However, sometimes very busy so you might have to wait for a while to get a table if you want to stay in. In this case, tables are often dirty and covered with what customers before you left. 5 stars if you get your coffee to go.

I just had to write this review. I went in for peppermint tea this morning and I was surprised to be served tea in a tall latte cup with the bag in instead of being in the tea pot. When I asked for another cup the staff gave me a smaller latte cup, I had to explicitly ask for a coffee cup which took them a while to find a clean one! Never experienced this before but totally worth mentioning.
