Enjoyed the fish, chips and mushy peas washed down with a couple of pints of stout. This place and the others in the WA group have really got it right in my eyes, good food at reasonable prices and a wide selection of independent beers. On that subject I'd recommend the WA pale ale which is ridiculously cheap but doesn't taste it.Atmosphere is what pubs should be, traditional without any 'ye olde fakery'.
Blooming fabulous. Independant pub so free to buy real ale from any where. Superb service. Didn't eat but by the looks of things, the food is popular. Looking forward to my next visit when in Leyland, Lancashire. Keep up the excellent work!

Happy to find this pub when visiting Leyland. Great atmosphere, music volume was perfect to have lunch and be able to speak with others. Great for families. Impressive amount of food with good quality.
