Dog friendly, wide range of cakes and sandwiches, expensive but portions large (depends on dish, but do check out the sandwiches, hot barms and giant eclairs). . Sometimes have grumpy staff but generally pleasant - one or two standout members of staff who always have a smile. In the past, We've had lovely hot beef and hot chicken barms and good takeaway from the chip shop. Following our annual trip to St Annes we were pleasantly surprised that the cafe was still open and serving drinks and light snacks. (So often now cafes begin to stop serving from 3.30pm in this country). We ordered coffee's and two do-nuts each. Coffee was swiftly served followed by the do-nuts. Pretty quick considering the ongoing queu to order them. The staff were pleasant and enthusiastic, despite having probably had a long and busy working day. A tale of two cafés.The Pros:Nice enough looking café inside and outside.Clean.Polite, friendly staff.Nice location.Parking (parking tariffs apply)The food we had was very nice.Pleasant replaced atmosphere.The Cons:Very expensive for what you get, even though the food was nice.We arrived and ordered two small snacks for breakfast, and it took almost an hour to be served to the table.
