I've long admired Art Deco architecture and had eagerly anticipated visiting the Midland Hotel for years. My wife, our French bulldog, and I braved a cold, windy November to stay for two nights and were not disappointed. Beautiful period hotel, very helpfull staff, who go above and beyond to make your stay a relaxing, enjoyable, and a safe experience,All on the ground floor, except bedrooms, sweeping,historic staircase to the rooms, and a lift to all floor's, the catering and waiting staff, menu, are exceptional, and housekeeping is very professional and quick friendly and very pleasent.Ample free parking, within the private hotel car park.Really worth staying, and enjoying an exceptional...read full review

Great coffee with reasonable prices.Very tidy inside and recently had new chairs ect. I've been coming here for years and recently it has gone up a level. It was starting to look a bit tired but this has been addressed by the new owners.Just wish they would bring back the residents discount.Nearby activities: Bowling, cinema, trampoline Park, beautiful walks, Pubs and Restaurants all within 5 minutes walk.
