I feel bad giving this place a 3 rating. The staff which I think is a mum and son team are very welcoming. Lovely people very talkative and they serve your food with a smile. Very well priced and great potion sizes. BUT.....: The food isn’t isn’t good enough. That’s the problem. The food just isn’t good enough. The chips are very mushy. Travelled from Rochdale as I had heard great reviews off friends, got to the back of the shop where I was greeted by one of the employees who was very welcoming, had a worry about the food being cold once travelling back to Rochdale however food was still piping hot, ordered the fish and chips and chips curry and pie, top tier scran and would definitely recommend to the locals and surrounding areas of Nelson!!!
