We used to pop in to Chocolate Strawberry Tearooms when visiting Pendle Village but since getting a pup we could not access the cafe through the mill. It has since allowed dogs into the mill which is a plus. We now travel (over the border!) and visit the cafe (outdoor seating only with dogs) every week and can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. Came here with my wife and little dog we sat outside I have home made mince and onion pie The wife had fish and chips A coffee and hot chocolate I so that they have just had the food hygiene rate on the 13th sept and it was 5 starts I think the head chef has been working there for over 10yrs now must have a very clean kitchen

Come here regularly for tea and cakes and occasionally a meal. Variety of cakes, all delicious are on offer, menu is varied and very well cooked and presented. The staff are brilliant, very pleasant and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
