Popped in for a festive lunch because from the outside - this place screams Christmas and is so inviting!! As this was my first visit. - I was very surprised at the seating area and how huge it is and I was delighted at the effort made regarding Christmas decorations. I had admired the lovely Christmas tree in the window a couple of times while walking past and could not resist calling in for coffee on a shopping trip yesterday with hubby. So happy to find a table near the tree, and just sat, immersed in an utterly perfect nostalgic Christmas world with the fireplace and postbox. So much care had gone into it and it just made my day! What a hidden gem!! Called in for a coffee and sandwich and on going in was amazed at the size of the cafe. Just oozes atmosphere. Excellent hot beef sandwich and superb coffee. Will definitely be visiting again.
