Staff amazingly friendly and helpful cafe food excellent (And with the cafe location you wouldn't even realise it's a truck stop)
On site truck wash a bonus too (Well it is for us cab rats)

24 Roby Ml, Up Holland, SkelmersdaleHonestly hands down, the best roast l've ever had (sorry mum!)\n\nWe had the sharing roast, three meats all succulent, tender, flavoursome and plentiful.\nYou got mash, which was rich and creamy.\nPlenty of crispy, fluffy roasties and a whole load of tasty veggies - the braised carrots were phenomenal.\n\nThe gravy is worth a separate paragraph, it must take them hours and hours to make this. Deep, dark and rich in flavour. They are not stingey with the gravy as well - It’s poured over your sharing roast and then you get an additional little jug per person, a thing of pure beauty.\n\nMy wife has a severe allergy to wheat. The restaurant was able to accommodate gluten free options including a gluten free Yorkshire pudding which looked almost identical to mine, I had some very good feedback about the taste. They were served in individual dishes to keep them seperate. The first restaurant we have come across to offer such a thing which is a lovely touch.\n\nHad to write this straight away, had the best meal and the best Sunday. Thanks all at The Fox ❤️

I ordered the upholland special kebab and it lasted me 2 days because there was loads. Will definitely use this takeway again

24-26 Sandy Ln, SkelmersdaleThought to try yummies as had been on a huge walk and didn't want to cook ordered 16' pepperoni pizza a larhe chips and a portion of hot wings and got a free garlic bread oh my goodness the best pizza ever and garlic bread the hot wings were cooked to perfection as well as the pizza and garlic bread only fault is the chips weren't crispy but that's fine they still got eaten as they were hot and fresh will definitely be ordering amd I just wish they were open later

They even folded the free garlic bread for us and added mushrooms like we requested! It’s the little things! food and service was great! will definitely be ordering again soon.

Unit 149, Unit 149 The Concourse Shopping Centre, SkelmersdaleAbsolutely amazing staff in this branch, one particular lady, sorta curlyish hair (redishwith glasses) is always so accommodating with my children 3 of various ages, when choosing what they want she shows them the actual bread meat etc and takes the stress out of having to order serval different sandwiches. Super friendly, this lady alone keeps me and my kids coming back ?
