We have had a family meal at Chutney Ivy for a number of years at Xmas . This year it was disappointing . We all ordered the theatre set menu as usual but the portions were disappointing and the lentil dish like soup . Service average and my deposit was not included on the bill . Drinks were frankly exorbitant . I’m sorry to say our experience overall meal is not what it was .Parking: Rutland street car park is expensive and was filthy . Unfortunately, the manager was shouting at the staff. It made guests feel really uncomfortable. We felt really bad for the staff. I understand the food was cold and maybe some things were not going right but there are better ways of handling a situation. Certainly never shout at your staff - Please!!!I found a hair in my food and didn’t even want to tell the manager because I didn’t want anyone to get shouted at. I would give it another go to see if management has improved....read full review
