We visited The Corn Exchange in August 2023. The pub is an impressive Grade II listed building, with a huge stone archway to the front which unfortunately was undergoing some work on our visit. The pub was refurbished in 2022 and the interior is a vast, open area across multiple levels wrapped around a central bar.The carpet is particularly interesting, with reference to the Leicestershire cinquefoil and the agricultural history of the building. What's always struck me the most about this pub is that, despite it's very large, it's often completely full. In the mid 2020s, this is one of the few pubs in Leicester where two pints can land in your table for a fiver. The beer selection isn't bad! The selection of food is large, but much of it is meh. The pub's affordability makes it popular with students and pub crawls. A big plus is the pub's location in one of England's lovelier renovated historic corn exchanges

The majority of the online app was dissabled Breakfast took over 30 minutes. The eggs were hard ( after ordering soft), and the butter packs had melted into the breakfast, which left none for the toast. The pub was seriously understaffed and under prepared for the event in the city that had been advertised for months.
