Clearly a popular local pub, with the standard pub food options. A few vegetarian and vegan options. All our dishes were thoughtfully prepared and presented.Service was occasionally slow.Vegetarian options: About three main meal options

Super experience even though we had not booked. The pub was lovely with a restaurant extension (come in via the restaurant entrance to avoid the bar queue!) We sat indoors by the window and had a good view of the garden where there was a children's play area. we ordered the cod & chips, and a chicken & halloumi burger with fries. I have to say this is the best carvery in Syston, all food is homemade, fresh roast potatoes a great choice of meat and fresh hand chopped vegetables, really worth the visit with a warm smile from staff very welcoming..I would suggest booking we were lucky to walk in and be accommodated, ? percent value for money...thank you guys you were all soooo lovely...not as lovely as the gravy though ? see you all again very soon ?
