Not the place to go if you're only after getting completely drunk and not hearing yourself think.Frankly I've been to enough pubs in my time, but the price was right, and I'm not sure what all the comments about unhelpful staff are about because they were straight on it if we asked asking.I'd be lying if I said it was super busy, but sometimes that's what people want *more* than a busy night club-style pub - there's enough of those in Loughborough, it's a nice change to find somewhere...read full review
Spacious and decorated well. The range of drinks is one of the best in Loughborough which includes real/craft ales and cider. The manager,John, is very knowledgeable and possesses a dry and amusing sense of humour. This is a bar that I will be frequenting more often. What a nice addition to the pub/bar scene in Loughborough.

The wheeltapper is a mighty fine place, beer is very fresh clean and well served. Glasses are clean and the beer is packed with flavour. I am allergic to finnings so I tend to look for gluten free and vegan beers which this establishment sells. Prices are a little expensive but the beer is very well kept so I'd say it is worth it. Place is kept clean and the staff are very welcoming.Beer is kept at a perfect temperature either cask or keg
