What a lovely place! Great addition to the battlefield for you to grab yourself a drink and a bite to eat! Was recommended it after a friend told me that new management had taken and the place was better than before (as she hadn’t had not the best experience last winter) the choice of cakes and toasties were to die for so we sure decided to take a trip. 1. We spent they day wandering around the heritage site and popped into the cafe twice. Once for breakfast and then again later on for a little treat before we left. The staff were pleasant and friendly on both occasions and extremely helpful when my daughter couldn't decide what to have. We will definitely be going back.

Nice cafe at the Battlefield site. A really good selection of vegan cakes and offerings of alternative milks, service quick despite being a busy day in the summer holidays. Decent sized cafe with plenty of tables outside. Staff very polite and helpful. Will visit again :)
