The Red Lion Pub & Restaurant, Sapcote
8 Church St, Sapcote, LeicesterCame into this village pub tonight for the first time & I’m blown away. Great service from Dom, so refreshing to see a happy smiley face & a polite gent behind the bar. Very informative & helped me choose what I’d like to drink as I couldn’t decide. Credit to the team & the pub. Will return again soon !

There is a good menu choice with varied and unique coffee specials.The food is delicious and beautifully presented.You can also be tempted by the sweet counter!!You can book to have functions at the cafe and they often cater for different community groups to have a social gathering. At the time of writing the staff were busy preparing Christmas dinners for local village groups which is why the opening times are not late afternoon to cater for private functions.There is a good menu selection for breakfast and lunch, takeaway or order and pick up.There is also outside seating depending upon the weather. There is also a dog menu.The staff are friendly and helpful.There is a car park that serves the library and surrounding shops.

Ample wooden benches outdoor patio seating.
No take away sandwiches etc only crisps/nuts small cake selection.
You could dine in.
Venue seemed to attract rhe golden era couples for Sunday dining.
