Popped in for a beer ? as was dropping off my daughter home in the village . Was welcomed with a lovely local chap of many years sat at the bar and the landlord stood behind the bar with a friendly greeting and prompt service. Must say very nice interior and cosy feel ? Had a lovely beer and chat and look forward to going back to try their food ?

I have ordered food from solo's soul food many times and hav never had a bad experience. The food is exceptional, and very fairly priced. There's lots of variety on the menu, and having tried most of the options it's hard to choose a favourite. I do like the chicken, and is on par with kfc for sure! If your looking to help a local business and want a good quality takeaway then look no further. Communication is spot on also, if there's ever a problem with the order, then will always get in touch to rectify this ☆☆☆☆☆

By far the best curry in the area.It’s always quickest if you collect.I wouldn’t recommend eating in as it’s more of a cafe type restaurant.They don’t serve alcohol however you can bring a pint in from the pub next door if it’s open.

We got a flyer left at our lodge at the lakes so decided to venture out for a pizza, it's not too far away and there isn't alot around. On entrance the shop was disorganised with a small table, random chairs strewn around, a TV off and a street fighter cab also switched off. The staff didn't speak and were not welcoming, I almost walked out, but the food was good, portions were large so if you're not into friendly chit chat you'll be fine
