Food Great. Nice portions. What let's this place down was the wait between starters and mains. Well over an hour.I think the issue is booking management and Take away management.Several large tables all came in at same time and lots of Takeaways too.They need stagger start times and slow down on accepting Takeaways when busy.Dietary restrictions: Very good knowledge of Allergens and especially Coeliac.

This chip shop is bussin fr fr. The servers are amazing. The food is lovely i love this chippy with all my heart. The quote on the wall "a day without fish n chips is a day wasted" is so wholesome. Truely an amazing british chippy 10/10

Great meal on our first visit to the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the place was clean and had a nice casual atmosphere. Very good range of starters and main courses which were excellent value for money. The food was really nice, good flavours and decent portion sizes. Many of the other items on menu sound really nice, so would definitely return to try a few different meals. Great experience overall.

Dave’s chips!!!! Well what can I say. They were absolutely spot on. Great service, great food and the Saturday night we went there was a great atmosphere. Well recommended if you are wanting a curry in Ripley. Tank your out booze though as they are not licensed.

I'm not from the area but will definitely be ordering from here again, the next time I'm here. The food had lovely flavours and the vegetables were very fresh. Mushrooms from other restaurants are often a bit rough but these were very fresh. I ordered mini vegetable spring rolls, boiled rice, salt and chilli chips, and vegetables in satay sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very tasty.

Amazing pizza. My friend is a vegan so she advised to have a vegan friendly veggie pizza and the chef brought out this exotic pizza we have never seen before! Pizza tasted funky, but in a good way! Absolutely would reccomend to anyone looking for a pizza place!

This is very much my local fish bar and, as luck would have it, my favourite too. It's not just a fish and chip shop - it also does pizza, burgers, kebabs, and various other bits and pieces. I have pretty much always been more than satisfied by what ai have had here, and I have been a lot! I have sampled pretty much most things from here over the past couple of years - from battered sausage and chips, 16" pizzas, chicken meat and chips with logs of garlic sauce the list goes on. The portion sizes are big. People might describe them as "generous", but I hate that expression. If they were generous they would be both big and free. These cost money. Speaking of money - this, quite rightly, is a cash only establishment. None of your up itself Apple Pay here. Should you have no cash on you, there is a cash machine about 20 yards from the front door. To summarise - Codnor doesn't have many places to eat, but I am very glad that one of the few places it does have is Codnor Fish Bar.

We stayed in Lower Hartshay in October. Our visit would not have been complete without a few visits to The George Inn. A very warm and friendly welcome. Sunday lunch is spot on. Also worth knowing that dogs are more than welcome inside the pub, apart from dining times. Which I feel is totally acceptable. However there is a garden area where you can eat your food with you're four legged friends. Which was ideal for us. Can't wait to go back

Went to this venue for a bikers weekend festival. The Staff could not be more helpful. Spotlessly clean and fantastic venue. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. My only suggestion, would be a golf buggy shuttle to the bus stop at the end of the drive, but that's cos I'm idle lol.
