I’ve been slowly trying all of Boston’s Fish & Chip offerings. Today I got around to trying Andy’s. A very ‘traditional’ place, friendly owner who seems to have been here for years and knows many locals personally. Fish is fresh cooked to order (even Haddock can be skinless). Decent, crisp batter and proper old school chunky chips - nice and soft. The Mushy Pea’s tasted nice but was very ‘artificially’ green and it sort of put me off. (Seriously the picture may look like a mess but believe me it was lush!) (Chips, beans and gravy!)Me and my partner used to go to another local fish and chip shop on our shopping trip but one night we decided to try this one.. and oh my was it a excellent decision... obviously made my me. ;) lol..Very friendly staff! And great quality food! Yummy!Would definitely recommend!P.s - the southern fried chicken is awesome too!

Southern fried chicken and roast potatoes are cracking, would defo comeback 10/10. Me and Matty are coming back in the next 2 hours x(Just been back, still as good as first time would recommend)
