We were staying down the road and decided to pop in, lovely couple own the pub and great atmosphere and very good beer too had a local IPA very nice.Definitely recommend and hopefully will return, if you’re in the village choose here over the other pub, they don’t do food but it is fantastic.

Spent a week at Anderby creek, popped into The Tavern most nights, very friendly people, very helpful, had a few games of bingo, drinks were very well priced, pint and a half of Guinness £6.80, they do happy hour 5 till 6 so would of been cheaper
